As a new mom, I now have a better understanding of what families go through before you get to me. It's my goal that our session is easy and fun and most importantly not stressful. Talking before the session will help me understand what your goals are. I'll make sure we cover what you need so you can relax.

I use 100% natural light so, there's no posing in a hot studio. To your kids, the session is just a fun trip to the beach or park. The best part of my job is creating family memories and to see my clients grow and change with each year.

What to Wear

I always recommend that my clients dress comfortably. Whether that means jeans and t-shirts or your favorite outfit. Sometimes that means your daughter's favorite dress. As you can see on my home page, one of my favorite shots is a young girl in a fancy black party dress running along the beach.

For a group I suggest that everyone is somewhat coordinated. You don't want the clothes to stand out more than the faces. You should feel confident, comfortable and ok with a little sand or dirt!

When to Schedule

I suggest shooting at the time of day when everyone is fed and rested. With newborns and babies we can work around naps and feedings. Don't worry I'm very patient.

And... If you wake up the morning of our shoot and your child is sick, scraped their nose or just really not having a good day don't worry, just call and we'll reschedule.
