I love finding new places to shoot. This client always has such great suggestions! I've photographed them at Cal Tech, Griffith Observatory and this year we met the LA Aboretum. Not only did we find some beautiful fall colors we also saw peacocks!
Chalkboard Fun
At a recent photo shoot I asked two sisters to write something about each other. I had no idea what they would say! I'm always trying to think of ways to help personality shine through. These girls didn't need any help with that! I'm really happy with the results.
Sisters
These two are such sweet sisters! They are favorites to photograph (ok I say that about everyone but I really like ALL my clients) I've been photographing them since they were small. One of the fun parts of this job is to see the changes every year. We found a beautiful purple wooden door in their backyard that made for a colorful backdrop.
SNOW FLAKES AND GOLD GLITTER
Last year I wanted to try something a little different with my clients. Armed with a big box of gold glitter and a big bag of snow we set out to have some fun! We got out some scarves and hats and as you can see in the pictures below, it gave my southern California clients a chance at snowy Holiday cards. As an east coast transplant, the one thing I miss here in LA around the Holidays is the snow. The weather got down to a balmy 65 degrees but you can't tell by looking at the pictures. What will we do this year??
